Wheels can be removed if you decide to place it in a permanent location. The pod can also be removed from the trailer.
Final setup:
Once placed on its final location the trailer can be hidden with a wood skirt and wheels can be removed. Sturdier stairs can be added to replace the foldable one.
Removing the pod from the trailer: on the front and back edge of the trailer there are six lag screws and six metal plates attaching the trailer frame to the outer rim of the floor. Your contractor will need to remove the screws to detach it. Then you'll need a small crane boom truck, or similar equipment to lift the pod and unload it. We recommend you install 4x6 runners underneath the floor in case you'd like to move it around later on.

This custom ‘deck over’ trailer is a level bed over the wheels and axles.
Double axle for better support and safer towing.

NHTSA certified with all proper lights and VIN number. Also, they come with a 2 5/16” receiver (for the tow hitch), typical for trailers this size.
Dimensions:
The Twelve pod (12x8’) trailer is 17’ long total, 2’ high (11.5’ total).
The Sixteen pod (16x10’) trailer is 21’ long total, 2’ high (11.5’ total).
The tongue part is roughly 5’ long in both.
Total weight:
The Twelve + Trailer = 5,400 lbs.
The Sixteen + Trailer = 8,200 lbs.
Driving around: for The Sixteen pod (10’ wide) you’ll need a wide load permit (no escorts required). The Twelve pod (8’ wide) is all good to go!
